Golden State Box Factory has made wooden boxes in San Diego since 1909, supplying the wine industry and many others. I built their online shop and run their search and email marketing. Clicks from Google grew by 83% and impressions by 170%, year on year.
The goal
Give buyers from many industries, wine included, a clear way to find the right box and order it or request a custom quote.
What I did
- Built the website and online shop on WooCommerce, with stock boxes to buy and custom work to quote
- Ran SEO across product and industry pages, so each type of buyer finds a page written for them
- Set up email marketing for repeat buyers and new enquiries
- Built an AI sales assistant that replies to enquiries, gathers project details and briefs the sales team
- Designed their carbon footprint report, which shows the business sequesters more carbon than it emits
